Project Manager

Jakes Construction Ltd., Chilliwack BC-based civil construction company requires a Project Manager. Reporting to our Chief Project Manager, responsibilities for this challenging, high-paced position include:

  • Overall project responsibility, with emphasis on profitability & scheduling management
  • Direction of costing, purchasing, progress billing & cost to complete analysis
  • Management of drawings, submittals & transmittals
  • Liaising with customers, engineers, subcontractors & other project stakeholders

Candidate credentials:

  • Recognized post-secondary construction management certificate/diploma or equivalent experience (min. 5 years)
  • Strong leadership and problem solving ability, good interpersonal, oral, written & clerical skills
  • Timberline software experience considered an asset
