Lower Sumas Mountain Road – Slope repair

  • Location – Sumas Mountain (Abbotsford), BC
  • Owner - City of Abbotsford
  • Description – With environmental consideration of Kilgard Creek, repair of failed roadway slope, including: piledriving, soil anchoring and shotcrete application, retaining walls, roadworks and structural walkway construction
  • Schedule – October to December 2011

Hatzic Slough Bridge Deck Replacement

  • Location – Hwy 7 near Mission BC
  • Project Owner – Ministry of Transportation
  • Description – replacement of failing timber bridge decking with precast concrete decking, complete with structural steel installation, road work, rip-rap installation and asphalt paving
  • Other – environmentally-sensitive considerations regarding the Hatzic Slough
  • Schedule – completed November 2011
